Two weeks ago, Sakir’s life changed forever. This 27-year-old man met with a terrible road accident while he was traveling with his brother. He was sleeping in the car when suddenly, a calf appeared on the road.
To avoid hitting the animal, his brother, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle, and they crashed into a large truck!
Sakir's legs were severely injured in the accident. He suffered multiple fractures—two in one leg and three in the other. He has already undergone surgery on his left leg but remains in critical condition in the ICU. His doctors at the Asia Hospital say that he needs a long stay in the ICU and ongoing treatment to recover.
Sakir worked as a cleaner for vehicles, earning a small income to support his family. Now, with this accident, he is unable to work and provide for his loved ones. His wife is a homemaker, taking care of their two little daughters, who are just 2 years old and 7 months old. They live in a joint family, and this sudden financial burden has left them worried and struggling.
Sakir’s biggest wish is to recover and return home to his family, especially his young daughters who need him. He wants to stand on his feet again and be the father they look up to. But without urgent treatment, his recovery seems far away.
