2-year-old Rudrik Roy was born with Craniosynostosis, a condition that affects his skull’s shape and development.
Since birth, he has faced various challenges—his early days were marked by fevers and breathing issues, which worried his parents deeply. Although they tried to give him a normal life at home, Rudrik’s condition has made it difficult for him to live like other children his age.
For Rudrik to have a brighter future, his doctors at the CMC Hospital recommend multiple surgeries. These treatments are essential to help his skull grow properly and give him the chance to grow and develop without further health complications.
Yet, such procedures are complex and require extensive resources that go beyond what his family can afford.
Rudrik’s father, a driver, earns around ₹400 a day, while his mother, a tailor, makes about ₹250 daily. They work tirelessly to meet the family’s needs, but despite their combined efforts, their modest income cannot cover the high costs of the surgeries.
After four years of marriage, Rudrik is their only child, and they want nothing more than to see him healthy and happy, living without the restrictions his condition currently imposes.
This is a time when Rudrik’s family is reaching out with hope in their hearts. Any support you can give would mean the world to them.
