A rare cancer is after Himanshi’s vision & life! Will you save her?

In the small, dimly lit home of Himanshi’s parents, the world is a place of darkness. For her father, life has always been a blur of shadows. “We went to so many hospitals. They told us that one of her eyes is already compromised,” Himanshi’s father says, with tears in his eyes. "I don’t know how much longer she can hold on."

Despite the uncertainty, they hold onto a sliver of hope—the doctors say that surgery, timely surgery, might restore her sight, but the cost is overwhelming. The total amount required for the treatment is in lakhs. For a family with no means to afford the treatment, it feels like an impossible mountain to climb.

Himanshi’s father, despite his blindness, works at a Shanti Association for the Blind. He earns a meager Rs. 4000 a month, just enough to survive. The couple also receives a small disabled pension but it’s never enough to make ends meet. Every day is a struggle to keep the family afloat, but nothing could have prepared them for this.

"I don’t have any money. Where will I go? I don’t know what to do,” Himanshi’s father says, his voice breaking with emotion. "I can’t see anything, but I want to see the world through my daughter’s eyes."

This father, who has never seen the sunrise or the smile of his daughter, now clings to a dream—a dream that his precious Himanshi will grow up to see the world in all its colors, its beauty, its light. He refuses to let her grow up in darkness, as he has. He refuses to let her suffer the same fate as their first-born son.
